Invisible illumination using ELENEK 100 series helps
you see the light |
|
The Tirex company, producer of the ELENEK
illuminators, was founded in 1992 by specialists from the
Physical and Technical Institute of Saint-Petersburg. Since it
was founded, the main activity of the company has been
development and production of infrared
illuminators. In 1998 it started producing the ELENEK
infrared illuminators series. They found their way into a great
variety of applications, including:
-
The invisible
illumination of public and private
buildings
-
The illumination of
borders
-
The illumination of
railroad tracks
-
As illumination on
police surveillance vehicles
|
|
Many security
systems can profit from infrared illuminators. The main reason
for the use of infrared illuminators is their hidden
illumination that is not irritating and guarantees comfort during
night time. In combination with the highly sensitive black and
white CCD and CMOS sensors of modern security cameras, you will have
a higher yield than when using normal illumination. In the case
of LED-based illuminators, shock-resistance, reliability, and low
power consumption are also big advantages. These illuminators
increase the efficiency and quality of security systems, and
decrease its maintenance and exploitation costs. The main
advantages of the Elenek illuminators are their enormous efficiency
and their outstanding reliability, which offer a very good return on
investment.

Outdoor-ready HDTV PTZ domes
strengthen AXIS' camera offerings
|
AXIS launched Q6034-E PTZ Dome Network Camera, a
top-of-the-line, outdoor-ready HDTV camera. "Axis' successful PTZ
camera design now enables not only easy and reliable installation in
demanding weather conditions, but also outstanding HDTV coverage of
large areas and great detail when zooming in," says Erik Frannlid,
Director of Product Management at Axis. The outdoor-ready
surveillance cameras range from top-of-the-line AXIS Q6034-E PTZ
Dome with:
- High-speed pan/tilt performance and HDTV 720p, to AXIS P5534-E
PTZ Dome, which also offers HDTV 720p, and AXIS
P5532-E PTZ Dome with D1 resolution (720 x 480/576 pixels).
- The HDTV 720p performance of AXIS Q6034-E and AXIS P5534-E is
in compliance with the SMPTE 296M standard
regarding resolution, full frame rate, HDTV color fidelity and
16:9 format.
- The 18x zoom in combination with the HDTV resolution on the
HDTV PTZ domes provides zoomed-in views that offer not only
the same level of detail as a 36x-zoom, standard resolution
camera, but also the extra advantage of a wider (16:9) field of
view.
All three cameras have automatic day and night functionality,
enabling superb image quality round the clock. The PTZ cameras
provide H.264 video compression format, which greatly optimizes
bandwidth and storage use without compromising image quality. Motion
JPEG is also supported for increased
flexibility.
AXIS Q6034-E, AXIS P5534-E and AXIS P5532-E will
be available to order in July 2010. For photos and other
information, please visit Q6034-E, P5534-E, P5532-E |

smallest, most power-efficient Intel Atom PC to date. fit-PC2
can run Windows XP or Ubuntu Linux at just 6W and can play full
HD 1080p H.264 video using less than 7W.
